The Events Committee requested that I design a logo for the annual Gallatin Fashion Show. They wanted an hourglass to be contained within a dress form, as if the form were in fact the hourglass.
Adjacent is the original logo I designed based on the clients request and the whimsical theme. The client believed this original logo looked too much like a biology drawing. On the far left is the original poster I designed and above is the plasma poster. I went off of the hourglass concept that the client requested of me when designing the logo, however, they believed this poster was too dark and not cheerful enough so I did a redesign (shown above) which they were very happy with.
