Black History Month

For black history month, NYU Gallatin needed a handful of posters: a main poster, an events poster, and individual event posters. I did an initial design without any direction and then the events committee provided feedback, requesting that the poster feature Pan-African colors. I did a series of designs based off of this feedback (including a gradient color overlay on the lettering and a gradient background with black lettering, per the request of my boss) and we settled on the style shown below.
